Our illustrators have experience creating high-quality vector graphics to illustrate your scientific ideas. For examples of their work, see our portfolio page. Below are details outlining what to expect during the process of working with us to generate scientific schema. We look forward to working with you!

If you have any questions about the process or nature of our schema design service, feel free to contact us!

Please budget for approximately two weeks between submission and receipt of the final product.

How the process works:

Consultation to discuss your design

To begin the process, request a consultation using our simple online form. An illustrator will contact you to set up an in person meeting.

  • We ask that you bring one or more rough sketches of your desired design as well as any specific requirements for the piece.
  • During the consultation, the InPrint illustrator will work to understand your message and discuss your design until an agreement has been reached.

Schema mock-up

The illustrator will generate a vector graphic image based off of your consultation. You will receive a draft image via email, at which point any major structural or content changes can be discussed with the illustrator. Following your input, the illustrator will generate a completed graphic.

Minor revisions and finalized image

At this stage, any additional changes such as coloration, minor positioning, text, and formatting will be communicated via email to your illustrator. In order to make sure your schema is generated in a timely fashion, no major edits will be accepted in this phase.

Notes:

The timeline for completion will depend on the nature of the work and edits; however, we will aim to deliver final products within 2 weeks.
Final documents will be provided in a variety of digital formats as well as original artwork (Adobe Illustrator or SVG) files.
