Sierra is a Molecular Genetics and Genomics (MGG) PhD student. She earned her B.S. in Biological Sciences and Minor in Psychology at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2021. As a graduate student in Dr. Alessandro Vindigni’s lab, Sierra’s thesis project focuses on defining replication stress signatures in BRCA1 mutated cells. Sierra has experience writing and editing abstracts, internship applications, fellowship applications, and personal statements. She also has some experience reviewing manuscripts and designing figures.
