Pranav is a postdoctoral research associate in the lab of Dr. Timothy Miller in the Department of Neurology. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences, with a master’s specialization in pharmacology. He earned his PhD from the University of Otago, New Zealand researching altered brain arginine metabolism in tauopathies such as Alzheimer’s disease, frontotemporal dementia, and progressive supranuclear palsy. His current research involves investigating antisense oligonucleotide (ASO)-mediated therapies in mouse models of dementia. He has experience writing manuscripts and enjoys helping fellow researchers review their scientific communications.
