Kellan is a Ph.D. graduate researcher in the Molecular and Cellular Biology program. She works in the laboratory of Dr. Jason Yi in the Dept. of Neuroscience, where she studies the impact of genetic variants on autism and neurodevelopmental disease. She obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of Dallas, where she worked in a microbiology laboratory studying a model of nosocomial infection in patients with cystic fibrosis. She is experienced in writing and editing scientific papers, abstracts, reviews, and grant applications.
