Jess is a Neuroscience PhD student in the lab of Dr. Meaghan Creed. She is studying the aversive nature of opioid withdrawal and its neural underpinnings in the reward and aversion circuits of the brain. She received her BA in Psychology at St. Norbert College and worked as a research technician at the University of Maryland-Baltimore and Washington University. Jess has experience in writing fellowship applications, scientific manuscripts, and review articles.
