Jessica is a Molecular Genetics and Genomics graduate student in the lab of Dr. Ting Wang in the Department of Genetics. In the Wang lab, she focuses on understanding how transposable elements modulate gene regulatory networks during human development. Jessica has experience writing and editing conference abstracts/posters, personal statements, and fellowships. She enjoys empowering and equipping her fellow scientists in their communication.
