Eric is a Plant and Microbial Biosciences PhD candidate in the lab or Dr. Arpita Bose, where he investigates iron-oxidizing bacteria and their role in ancient Earth ecosystems, as well as applications toward bio-commodity production. He earned his BS in Biology at Allegheny College, followed by a two-year stint as a Research Associate in the lab of Dr. Michael Morowitz at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Eric enjoys reading, writing, and providing feedback on everything from manuscripts to articles for mainstream publications.
