Emma is a first-year graduate student in the Molecular Cell Biology Program. She received her BS from the University of Miami in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, and previously studied mitochondrial OXPHOS protein complex biogenesis and function in the lab of Dr. Flavia Fontanesi. Emma enjoys assisting others in their communication of science and has experience writing and editing scientific manuscripts, review articles, and presentations.
