Emery is a postdoctoral research associate in the department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics (BMB). Emery earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Molecular Biology from Penn State in 2022, after which he joined in the Holehouse lab in BMB. His research employs computational and experimental biophysics methods to interrogate the behavior of intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs). Emery has ample experience writing, editing, and reviewing manuscripts, review articles, and grant/fellowship applications.
