Dong-gyu is a rotating first-year graduate student with the Plant & Microbial Biosciences Program. He received his B.S. in Biochemistry in 2019, and his M.S. in Plant Pathology in 2022, at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Starting from his undergraduate research in fungal pathogens of plant-parasitic nematodes, Dong-gyu’s primary research interest has been mechanisms of microbial pathogenesis. His editing experiences include drafting manuscripts and fellowship applications.
