Zitian is a third year PhD student in Biomedical Informatics and Data Science program within DBBS. She completed her BS in Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She is currently in Dr. Sheng-Chih (Peter) Jin’s lab developing computational strategies and tools to elucidate the impact of short tandem repeats in idiopathic peripheral neuropathy and actively contribute to the somatic variation catalog for the Somatic Mosaicism Across Human Tissues consortium. Zitian is open to provide suggestions and feedback on all types of scientific communication.
