Sam is a first-year graduate student in the Neurosciences program. She received her B.S. in Neuroscience from the University of Notre Dame, where she studied retinal regeneration in zebrafish. Her research interests broadly include development, neuroplasticity, and regeneration. She has experience writing and editing personal statements, fellowship applications, and abstracts.
