
Kaylee is a PhD student in the Molecular Cell Biology program. She received her BS in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Virginia in 2020. Her current research in the lab of Dr. Katherine Weilbaecher focuses on tumor cell responses to extracellular acidosis through G-protein signaling, including promoting immune suppression and osteolysis in the breast cancer bone metastatic microenvironment. She has experience editing abstracts, manuscripts, and grants.
