Jungeun is a 1st year graduate student in the Molecular Genetics and Genomics program. She received her BS and MS in biology and biomedical sciences from Korea University. During her master’s degree, she studied the genetic mechanisms of fear learning and memory at a single-cell and spatial transcriptomics level. Her current research interest lies in investigating the mechanisms of gene regulation, particularly within the brain. Jungeun has experience in writing and editing manuscripts, conference abstracts, and posters.
