Jen is a postdoctoral scholar in the Division of Bone and Mineral Disease. She is currently focused on studying the relationship between peripheral nerve signaling and skeletal homeostasis, specifically in the context of diabetic neuropathy and bone disease. During her PhD, she studied the role of a neuronal maintenance factor in modulating sensory dysfunction in a novel Drosophila larval model of chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy. She is experienced in writing and editing scientific papers, reviews, abstracts, and grant applications.
