Jackie is a PhD student in the Energy, Environmental, and Chemical Engineering Program (EECE). She received her degree from Santa Clara University in environmental science with an emphasis in chemistry in 2020. Her research with the Parker Lab focuses on the transformation of herbicides in environmentally relevant conditions. She uses analytical chemistry techniques to elucidate the reaction mechanism to understand how applied herbicides can present environmental risks.
