Chris is an MD/PhD candidate in the Computational & Systems Biology program. He received his BSE in biomedical engineering from the University of Michigan in 2015. His current research interests are focused on osteoporosis and aging bone, specifically understanding why aged bone has a diminished ability to adapt to mechanical loading. He is experienced in editing manuscripts, conference abstracts, and grant applications. He was also awarded an F30 Ruth L. Kirschstein Fellowship in 2019 and is excited about helping other students through the fellowship application process.
